Throughout the EverymanHYBRID series the cast occasionally made sly references to other Slenderman stories on the internet, before later on having direct interaction with characters from other channels confirming that EMH and the other series share a universe. These references and interactions were a continuing acknowledgement of internet based horror mythos that had been a hallmark of EMH from the beginning.

  • Noah appeared in the video "THESEVENTRIALSOFHABIT - TRIAL FOUR - RABBIT#082"
  • Noah appeared in the video "Noah."
  • HABIT appears in the TribeTwelve videos "Severance" and "Bridge To Nowhere".
  • Noah commented in the video "Left Behind.m4v".
  • Lee from the series Whispered Faith also appears in the video "Bridge to Nowhere". Later in the Whispered Faith video "The Truth," Lee says he had to give a person (Most likely Noah Maxwell) directions.

Stan Frederick[]

  • In the video "34. Indebted" Stan's wife Susan finds a document with purple duck tape on it that Stan had worked on. She asks him if they should try to contact them since it has a lot of useful information, Stan simply says that they aren't that desperate yet.
  • In the video "52. Pit Stop" Stan and Serena travel back in time to meet Vinnie from the past and asks him about HABIT.
  • Noah from TribeTwelve and Michael from MLAndersen0 also have made cameos in episodes "13. Unsatisfied Customers" and "29. Neighbors", in the former of which it was finally confirmed that HABIT did kill Shaun.

  • Dr. Cairo from Compile Truth made a few analysis videos of the series.
  • In the video "⊗LOG⊗ - New Jersey", Dr. Cairo interviews Evan, as well as Hellershanks from the series Devil Country and Lucien Drage from the series Into The Truth. The video also mentions the series My Dark Journal.
  • Dr. Cairo plays the DOUBIOUS map in a video.
  • Dr. Cairo reuploaded the video ''Left Behind.m4v'' from Seeking Truth with the name ''When a good man goes to war''.

  • Zeke Strahm said on his blog that he had been in contact with Jeff before a few times.
  • Steph once mentioned in her blog that she didn't trust any policeman not named Strahm.
  • In the video "Left Behind" posted on a channel called TheMysticisDead, seems to show the last moments of Zeke Strahm. In one part of it, he has this message for the EMH boys: "You Hybrid boys, keep your eyes and ears open okay? Your buddy Evan... however bad he is now, it's going to get so much worse before it gets better. It's funny... she'll talk about what happened to her parents, but not about what happened to that group she was traveling with. Just a thought."

Marble Hornets[]

Note that Marble Hornets is fictional within the universe of EverymanHYBRID.

  • In the video "One step forward, two steps back" Evan and Alex are playing Scrabble. Evan attempts to play the word "wifin" a reference to the "Gimme 20 Dollars" meme surrounding Marble Hornets.
  • In the video "Congratulations Magus!.avi", the group mentions the real name of the winner, Magus, is Jay. Vinny says "not like Jay from the other series" and the other guys laugh. This is a reference to the protagonist of Marble Hornets, Jay Merrick.

TJAProjects[]

5zer02[]

  • While appearing in the TJA Projects video "More Questions, No Answers", during a crossover of those two series, one of the 5zer02 characters made direct references to both EMH and TribeTwelve, name dropping characters from both other series.

redredhat[]

  • In the video "those that don't see it" Carmen watches the video "Consensus" on her tablet.
  • In the video "THE WORLD IN: stares" Heather, from the DarkHarvest00 channel had a cameo.

Other References[]

  • In an infamous incident early in the series, Jon from the series Jonclubs113 posted 2 videos in which he broke character and blasted the cast and the series with insults. He later took down the videos and apologized but not before Jeff said in a Ustream that he was tired of douchebags with a lisp (Jon had a lisp) calling the cast fake. Also note that both series take place in New Jersey.
